Did you know almost 18,000 children in Oakland County, Michigan, struggle with food insecurity on the weekends? These kids eat meals at school during the week but need access to affordable, healthy food on Saturday and Sunday. That's where Blessings in a Backpack can help!

The Blessings in a Backpack program at Ferndale Elementary provides food on the weekend for 170 children who might otherwise go hungry. 

Please join us in preventing weekend hunger by making a gift. As little as $150 will help provide well-balanced, nutritional food for a child every weekend of the school year. From the bottom of our backpacks, thank you for helping us feed kids at Ferndale on the weekends!
